Credits.    The Sismalp network was funded between 1987 and 1993 by the Isère county council (conseil général de l'Isère), the 1989–1993 State–Rhone-Alpes-region plan contract, the delegation for major hazards (French ministry of the Environment), and Institut national des sciences de l'Univers. Its running costs are supported by several county councils (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Hautes-Alpes, Haute-Savoie, Isère, Ain, and Savoie), the Grenoble observatory, and the French national seismic monitoring network.
